We analyse your needs to create a customized proposal for you. Once the proposal has been accepted and the ISSA agreement signed, the planning of your audit can start.
The IATA Standard Safety Assessment (ISSA) is an IATA program for a further enhancement of safety in the aviation industry. With ISSA operators have access to a renowned IATA safety verification who are either not eligible for IOSA or who want to take a first step towards an IOSA registration.
The ISSA is a voluntary and internationally recognized evaluation system for operators influenced by the scope of IOSA such as audit standards deriving directly from all IOSA disciplines, with an emphasis on the Organization and Management System. The standards and recommended practices are in accordance to the IOSA Standards Manual (ISM) and Program Manual (IPM).
We analyse your needs to create a customized proposal for you. Once the proposal has been accepted and the ISSA agreement signed, the planning of your audit can start.
The one man-day ISPV provides you with an understanding of the ISSA concepts and familiarizes your staff with techniques to conduct self-preparation activities.
We conduct the on-site audit at your premises. Every ISSA audit starts with the opening meeting on the first day and ends with the closing meeting on the last day. The expiration date of your ISSA registration will be 24 months after the date of the Closing Meeting. Two auditors will conduct the audit for two days (four man-days on-site)
Potential findings and observations identified during the on-site phase of the audit will now be closed. This is done in close cooperation with the Audit Organization, the operator and the Lead Auditor. Findings must be closed within 12 months after the closing meeting of our initial audit.
IATA places your airline on the ISSA registry for a registration period of 24 months from the day of your initial audit-closing meeting upon successful completion of all Quality Control activities.
